Calling everybody for Alan

Members of Cumberland County MCC  have been out looking over the course for the ACU Normandale Masters Alan Trophy Trial which will run on Sunday June 5th. This is generally a well supported trial with many riders attending from all over the country. The Normandale series is aimed at riders over the age of 40 and  also for riders of air-cooled monoshocks and also those on twinshock machines, in five different classes
The section plotting crew have again found a good mix of sections including rocky streams, felled woodland and rock gardens over a fantastic  grassy and stoney tracked Cumbrian fell that provides such a great selection of sections, normally two laps of 20 hazards.
There are some photos here to whet your appetite.
As always the club are  on the lookout for observers to help ensure the smooth running of this event and if you can help at all the club would be very grateful. In addition, it would be good if MORE Northern Centre riders took part as for some strange reason, local riders tend to give this event a miss, despite it being one of the most sensible trials of the year
On a more serious note, there is no camping allowed onsite for this event, also the Landowner has told us that he would prefer competitors and spectators to avoid bringing dogs with them, if this is not possible, then they must be kept  on leads at all times
See you all on the 5th, the club hopes, with entries through the ACU on-line system.
