What can be vicious limestone rockery was in a benevolent and compliant state on Easter Sunday when Lakes GTRC ran their current GS Motorcycle sponsored trial at Clawthorpe, for there were two clean sheets on the heavily populated Clubman course, with Gary Dixon and Nick Shield both going clean, whilst the riding partner to Nick Shield in the forthcoming Pre 65 Scottish and Scottish Six Days Trial, Michael Irving, was next best on one along with Peter Blowers and Andy Downham.

The dead easy course was a touch more difficult by the way of marks lost with 11 being needed by John Moore and 13 by Ian Robinson whilst on the Hard course which featured just 6 riders, Ryan Crayston was the best on 14 from Sam Metcalfe a further 6 adrift of the class winner.

Six youngsters tackled the shortened conducted C and D course  where Toby Jackson and Thomas Dixon were victorious.
