Cumberland next for a Centre Championship round

Cumberland next for a Centre Championship round

One of the best Northern Centre Championship rounds comes courtesy of the Cumberland Club when they hold their November round, which this year is on November 21.

Like all Centre rounds it will have a Hard course, a Green course and a Clubman course with the venue being deep into the Lake District National Park and flagged from Caldbeck village at the school road end.

Start time will be 10.30 (NOT as shown on the ACU website) and it’s through the ACU on-line entry system (www.acu.org.uk) that your entry can be made. The trial will be all off-road and if you usually ride the easy course, you may find this a bit more challenging than most events (it is a Centre round!!) but you should get around OK. The easiest course option is Clubman to reflect this.

SACU licence holders with the necessary permission should just enter the course you wish to ride and select either Adult, Youth A or B.

If you do not have SACU permission you will have to select and purchase a day licence through the system.

Entries which are limited to 60 in number open on Tuesday November 2 and close on Thursday November 18 or when full. There will be no day entries available.
