Entries open for D.K.Laing/Rutherford Trial

One of the peculiarities of the Northern Centre is that Centre Championship events for any one year always start in the November of the previous year!!

And the 2022 series is no different as on November 7, the Bassenthwaite Club are organising the D.K.Laing Trial at Threlkeld, starting from the Mining Museum, it’s traditional parking area from where the club will be running several laps of the moorland course.

Each year there is a trial called the Rutherford, which is always organised by a different club in conjunction with a Centre Championship round, and this time (for 2022) it runs in conjunction with the D.K.Laing.

Start time will be 10.30am and entries are now open via the ACU on-line entry system.

Just a reminder here that the Westmorland Club’s John Holmes Memorial Trial is on October 17 and is a club event at Lindale for any twinshock machine. Modern bikes can also be accommodated, bearing in mind that the sections will be laid out for twinshocks.
