Sun shines on Bassenthwaite’s charity
A superb summer evening made Bassenthwaite’s Wednesday evening chaity trial a glorious place to be at Glenridding on July 7 where a 39 strong entry of riders tackled three laps of 12 sections.
Joel Gown proved to be the best performer on the main Clubman course , finishing some five marks ahead of Jack Dixon whilst on the Easy course Ephy Wilson took his second win of the year since the sport restarted in April.
A finer evening of sport would be difficult to find in a glorious setting with local charities benefitting from the efforts of the Bassenthwaite club.
