First of the evening series by Westmorland
The first of the Westmorland Club’s series of three Wednesday evening trials begins on Wednesday, June 18 and will be at Lamb Howe, which is the same venue as the club used for round one in 2024. This will be the first of a three round championship series with prizes awarded after the third round to riders who have supported the events and performed well
The trial will be over 4 laps of 10 sections, with two routes, a normal clubman course and a second route which will be much easier and suitable for newcomers and returnees to the sport.
Start time will be 6.30pm with entries taken at the start from 5.30pm onwards. Do please note that use of midge repellant spray is recommended at this time of year, particularly if it is warm and also note that parking is limited. Everybody managed to get parked last year, but please park in a tidy manner and respect that latecomers also need to get into the venue as there can be no parking on the road. The venue is flagged from the A5074, Gilpin Bridge to Bowness road at Hubbersty Head.
The club’s second and third rounds of this series are on July 16 and August 13.
