Frosty weather halts Bassenthwaite’s trial
The weather has put a stop to the Bassenthwaite Club’s Stanley Tallontire Memorial Trial at Mungrisdale on Sunday, December 3 as the exceptionally hard frost has frozen not just the land but also the becks and with the forecast continuing to stay the same, the club have decided to call off the trial now rather than on Saturday afternoon.
