It is essential from an insurance point of view that every club has a member who holds a current ACU Clerk of the Course licence, particularly those who actually set out trials.
In recent years many holders have unavoidably let their licences lapse, generally because there has not been local clerk of the course licencing seminars.
However, this will now be corrected for on Monday, December 9, Mick Wren – who is a member of the ACU Trials Commission, with be holding a seminar to guide participants through the process of either renewing their regional clerk of the course licences as well as first licences for those who need them.
The evening is without charge as the Northern Centre is funding this evening which will be held at the Villa Hotel, Levens at 7.30pm and to book your place send an e-mail to the Centre Secretary Maxine Hayhurst with your name and the e-mail address you normally use, as part of the licencing process is done on line at your own convenience.
