Ghyll farm hosts Sedbergh’s trial
Returning to the popular venue of Ghyll Farm, the Sedbergh club put on another good trial for the 35 riders who entered where Neil Wilson took the clubman class win with the loss of just four marks over the four laps of ten sections.. Predominately a rocky trial in the plentiful becks at this hillside venue over looking the lower Lake District, Joseph Johnson was runner up to Wilson and Jamie Sandham third.
Only four riders tackled the harder course where Cameron Batty was the clear cut winner on 19 from Liam Robinson on 26. Young Batty who has been resident there for much of his short life knows the land well so perhaps has the advantage, though like all sports, a rider still has to do it on the day.
Twinshock mounted Graham Knight made his win look easy over the easier clubman course from Angus Knox, both riders in the over 60 class.
Results, as always are available from the Results link on the Home page, and Eric Kitchen was back in action at Ghyll Farm after a holiday break, with his pictures in the Gallery.
