Lakes at Holmscales looking likely
As long as there is no serious deterioration in the weather – and the forecast actually suggests it is going to get warmer – the next trial by the Lakes Club which is on Sunday, January 12 at Holmscales, which will be flagged from Preston Patrick on the Crooklands to Kendal road, should go ahead without problem.
This trial always seems to be a popular event, so with 4 laps of 10 sections at this ancient disused quarry planned, the club are expecting a decent turn out of riders. Entries will be taken on the day, and as is always the case, observers are needed so if you can assist, the club will appreciate such an offer.
