No licence, no ride at Blaze Fell – the same for Bassenthwaite

In addition to the message below which you may well have already seen, the Bassenthwaite Club who have the Turner Trial on January 8 at Baggra Yeat near Caldbeck are in exactly the same situation and will be taking entries on the day. There is no need to inform them in advance but please note that all parking MUST be entirely off road at the request of the National Park authorities. Licences need to be shown and 2022 licences remain open until the day of the trial, after which it’s 2023 licences only.

Cumberland County’s New Years Day trial 1st Jan will be at  venue Blaze Fell, Armathwaite, Near Carlisle. Start time 11:00 am.
Due to the new ACU system, this trial will be enter on the day £20 per adult, £10 youth. Classes: Adult solo, youth A&B. 2 routes Clubmen and Easy.

ALL RIDERS TO HAVE A VALID LICENCE either 2022 or 2023. If you are struggling getting a licence through Sport 80 system, your 2022 licence remains valid for this trial ONLY.
YOU WILL HAVE TO BRING YOUR LICENCE ON THE DAY!!! Or NO RIDE!!

The entries will be limited as per landowners wishes, we will close registrations once all places are filled.

We are really pleased to finally work out a way to run this trial after the introduction of the ACU’S new system, and its issues !!
