Tie for the top at Thirlmere
On a dull evening, with the threat of rain ever present, the Bassenthwaite Club held their evening Charity trial on the Robinson’s land north of Thirlmere dam on the first Wednesday of the month which attracted 25 riders and a full compliment of observers for the eight sections, three of which proved quite testing.

Elliot Barrow Mark Gaskin
Trial winner Aran Drachenberg lost his five marks on the sixth section where runner up Dan Gaskell lost three, but Gaskell had two dabs elsewhere so though both riders finished on the same number of marks lost, Drachenberg took the win by virtue of having more cleans..
There were just two classes, Clubman and Easy Clubman and being a Youth centre Championship round, Connor Anderson in third overall gained more points towards the potential centre championship in his class as did Cameron Batty in Youth B whilst Tom Joel totted up more points in Youth C over the easy course.
