Tiger Prawn to the front

With six observers and only 10 riders, there were almost as many officials as riders at the second round of the Westmorland Club’s evening trials.

Undoubtedly a particular football game provided an alternative form of entertainment when compared to enjoying a pleasant ride in the woods at Lamb Howe, but that’s how it goes sometimes. Consideration had been made regarding to move the event to another night but in the end the club bravely stuck with the long standing date.

Karl Ratcliffe beat Erik Buckley by two marks to win the main clubman course with Craig Asbridge riding his Tiger Prawn (don’t ask) best of the three easy course riders. Despite the circumstances 16 enthusiasts enjoyed an evening of sport.

As always, the results are from the Home page link.
