Big new fell route for the Grant
Tomorrow’s Grant Trial (July 28) is going to be different from previous years with a new large loop added to the course with new sections thanks to the efforts of clerk of the course Malcolm Metcalfe and his team. It does mean riders will have to refuel at the start which they pass close by after the new loop before continuing on the course used in the past.
This is a Northern Centre Championship round and. the Clubman course is planned to be a touch easier than it was last year whilst the Green and Hard courses are suitable for a centre round. Entries taken at the start which will be 10.30 and we still need a few observers who are rewarded with their choice of biscuits and chocolates, so give Westmorland your support if at all possible.
Definitely a trial worth riding or marshaling.
