Brice best at Borrowbridge

Brice best at Borrowbridge

Despite there being at least three other trials that would affect the entry, Lakes GTRC did well to attract almost 40 riders to their 5th round of the Triple D club championship held at High Borrowbridge off the northbound A6 where the slippery stream and muddy banks took marks from all the riders.

Darren Brice won the Hard course with ease from Stuart Gaskell and Cameron Batty whilst Bradley Butterworth continued his winning form in the Clubman class from the much improved William Edmondson and equally improving Toby Jackson. Both are Youth B riders but with significant differences both in age and physical height.

Youth B is a class that is now very strong in the Centre but so too is the older category with Colin Benson a septugenarian at least still able to win the dead easy course from Craig Asbridge and Youth A Daniel Atkinson.
