Can you help?
This is an urgent plea from the Westmorland Club who need two or three riders able to set out the Milnthorpe Trial this coming weekend (March 2). Obviously everything will be supplied and advice as to where the trial needs to be, starting from the club’s own land at Lindale.
The problem is that those who regularly set out events are either working or are otherwise engaged and over the years, fewer and fewer riders have made offers to help organise trials. The three evening trials are currently catered for, the immediate problem being the Milnthorpe.
Event administration is well catered for but setting out trials is definitely becoming a problem so what it all boils down to is that Westmorland needs a small nucleus of riders prepared to take on the setting out of the occasional trial.
