D.R.Burrow all set up and ready

Graythwaite Forest has been used on an occasional basis for trials (and in the past, enduros) for many years, but has since suffered extreme damage due to storms and normal harvesting of the timber. It has made organising the annual D.R.Burrow trial a difficult job, but following on from his successful plotting of the recent Founders Members trial, Peter Mawson has been hard at work and has found 13 very good sections for the Barrow Club’s D.R.Burrow trial on Sunday, March 23.

It will be held over 3 laps of the course and is the latest round of the Northern Centre Trials Championship so will have three courses, a Hard route, a Clubman route and the Green route which is a mix of the Hard and Clubman courses.

Start time is 10.30am and the What3words location forest entrance that is used is underway.sideburns.exploring. Entries on the day for £25.

This is always a good trial, possibly not for beginners being a Centre Round, but definitely a good trial for those that a sensible challenge on a Sunday.
