Lonsdale call for riders and observers
On January 25 the Westmorland Club’s Lonsdale Trial is another round of the Northern Centre Championship for which the on-line entries are building nicely and there’s still another week for you to make your entry at the standard price of £25 through the ACU Sport 80 on-line entry system.
However, if you simply can’t commit to entering on line, then a day entry can be taken but because we really need to get a judgement on how many riders are going to take part, the day entries will be £30. So save yourself a fiver and get those entries in as soon as possible.
The trial is on the road, starting from the club’s own land at Firbank, flagged from junction 37 of the M6 with about 30 – 35 sections planned. The weather conditions on the day can often decide exactly what is going to happen, but at the time of writing this, it’s looking to be well above freezing all week previously but with some showers through each day – so looking promising.
Inevitably finding observers for this type of event can prove a problem, and though some good folks have already responded to the call, we still need to find quite a few more, so if you can help, please give Mike Rapley a call on 07788 161929 and he will willingly take up any offers of help.
