Swinny wins at Fell Green
When it comes to Northern Centre Championship rounds you can generally expect the Bootle Club;’s Fell Green Trial to be a tough one, but this year the event had been eased a little for the 33 starters, but that made no difference to Tim Swindlehurst who won once again to comtinue his thrust to retain the Northern Centre Championship for another year.
Joe Hiley was in second place on 21 marks lost, which was a dozen more Swindlehurst with Stephen Dixon in third.
Over the green course it was Owen Boow who lost 44 to finish five ahead of Lewisg Gaskell whilst in the Clubman class, spead into various age categories, Gavin Hazlet – debuting a new Beta Sinchro, Mark Barrow and Davidd Braithwaite were the best three.
