Passing of Mick Fallows
Westmorland Motor Club members were sad to hear of the death of Mick Fallows last week at the age of 90. Officiating at many WMC events, Mick was particularly associated with the Barbon Hillclimb where he was the starter for many years.
Mick rode motorcycles from a very early age, developing his skills whilst in the army and becoming a member of the REME display team. These skills he carried forward into his Trials riding career and as a builder/rebuilder and maintainer of many motorcycles. Later in life he was responsible for the continued running of the deplorable looking machines used by the Purple Helmets.
