
Westmorland on show at Telford
The Westmorland Motor Club was the only Northern Centre club to have a stand at the Telford off-road show last weekend where they promoted the variety of events the club hosts.
In addition to the 8 trials the club holds every year – and already they have hosted the first round of the S3 Parts Championship, Westmorland have two confirmed classic scrambles, one at the end of April at the Westmorland Showground and another in July at Helsington which was brought back into scramble action three years ago after a lapse of nearly 50 years.
Then there is the club’s annual Barbon tarmac hill climb at Barbon Manor in June followed in July by the international three day road rally of the Lakes and Dales which is open to road bikers on any make and age of machine.
To popularise the range of events the club organises, there were numerous machines on the stand that could be used in any iof nthe events tiogether with a continuous film show by several video photographers showing highlights of some of the club’s events from 2024.
The stand was manned by several of the club’s members over the two days all wearing the new Wulfsport corporate clothing that’s been made .
