Westmorland’s first evening trial

Westmorland’s first evening trial

Parking at the woodyard of High Bracken Fold Farm, Gatebeck is pretty good so there’s going to be plenty of room for riders and their vehicles when they attend Westmorland MC’s first Wednesday evening trial on June 10 at this little used venue which will be flagged from Preston Patrick, just off the main road from junction 36 of the M6 heading towards Kendal. Go past the petrol station, under the motorway bridge and take the next turning on the right travelling from the motorway end. Follow the flags and they will take you to the trial which will be held over four laps of 10 sections. Those sections are slippery banks and woods together with a long rocky and likely slippery stream – a great place for an evening trial suitable for all classes of rider including youth A, B and C. Start time is 6.30 pm with entries taken at the start. Adults £20, youths £15.
