High Bracken at Gatebeck is Westmorland’s next venue

Following on from two challenging trials earlier this year, the Westmorland Club’s next trial on Easter Monday, April 21 will be at High Bracken Fold Farm, Gatebeck and will be a much easier event, aimed at the riders who prefer their trials to be on the gentle side.

Starting at 10.30am with all the entries taken at the start, this will be a four lap trial over ten sections, with each section having a main clubman route and a version that will be easier to cater for those who prefer their trials that way.

This location, used for the past two years as a well supported evening trial venue, has gentle streams with bankings either side and also some rocky outcrops which provide for interesting sections and whilst the trial won’t be testing enough for the regular expert riders, those who like multi-class trials should enjoy this Easter experience.

High Bracken Fold Farm will be flagged from Preston Patrick on the main road from Crooklands to Kendal and has plenty of flat parking with easy access.
