Swinny again the Centre star

Fresh from a stunning ride in the Scottish, Tom Swindlehurst once again took the recent Lakes GTRC trial at Cartmell Fell by storm with a finishing score of 7 marks which was exactly half that of his closest rival, Wilf Shuttleworth in this trial which  was a round of the Northern Centre Championship.

Connor Anderson was third over the hard course whilst the Green course winner was Adam Hague, making one of his occasional appearances i the sport, thopugh it is now some years since he enjoyed some good rides in Scotland. Haague’s ride of seven lost matched that of Swinny, though over a slightly different course but was way ahead of Matt Edmondson on 32 and Lewis Gaskell on 44 in a challenging trial, most recently used in the S3 Milnthorpe Trial.

The Clubmen also had a testing day through the ten sections with Bradley Butterworth claiming the win by just 2 marks from Jackson Edwards and Mark Barrow who both lost the same number of marks, Edwards getting the verdict with more dabs after both shared the same number of cleans.

Tom Joel moved up into the Green course, a big move for a Youth B rider and went home with a very respectable score which nabbed him 5th place in the class.
