Our guys hit the island

There was a healthy contingent of riders from the Northern Centre at the recent International Manx Classic Trial in the Isle of Man over the first weekend of September, all of whom enjoyed two superb days of trialing in brilliant weather .

Saturday’s route, starting from the TT Grandstand took in sections to the south of the island with Sunday’s route, much longer and with a start time of the first rider at 7.30 being an hour earlier than on day one went northwards as far as the lunch check at Sulby Claddaghs.

Michael Irving  (lead picture) proved the best local performer in the Pre 65 Premier route category with fifth place with his riding companion Nick Shield seventh.
