Bootle’s award winners for 2023
Following the club’s last trial of the year planned for December 17, the Bootle Club will be having an awards presentation with pie and peas at the Brown Cow, Waberthhwaite at around 2.30pm that afternoon, which is of course a Sunday.
Riders who are due to receive an award following their performances in the club’s trials this year are, in no particular order: Tom Swindlehurst, Darren Brice, Jack Dixon, Simon Brice, Peter Blowers, Paul Anderson, Steve Gregory, George Armstrong, Breckin Barclay, Anthony Brockbank, Harold Whiteway, Angus Jenkinson, Joel Gowan, Owen Gilchrist, Connor Anderson, Sam Metcalfe, Stuart Gaskell, Lee Southam, Shaun Radcliffe and Johnathan Cooper.
It would be good if all these riders rode the trial before driving up the road to the pub for what should be a great social awards presentation afternoon.
