Easter opens youth championships

The opening two rounds of the  Northern Centre’s Youth Championship take place over the Easter weekend with Sedbergh MC having their round on Easter Sunday, March 31 at Ghyll Farm, Bowston followed on Easter Monday, April 1, with the Westmorland Club organising round two on the club’s own land at Lindale, flagged from the mini roundabout in Lindale village.

Each trial will make use of the normal level of club sections for the Youth A and B classes with variations for the Youth C and D categories. Both trials start at 10.30am and both trials take entries on the day with a reduced cost for the youth riders.

Of course both events cater for adults over the normal level of sections expected at these two excellent locations, and it is to be hoped that entries will be plentiful over this holiday season.

And here’s a reminder that the Barrow Club have their DR Burrow trial on Sunday, March 24 in Graythwaite Forest, flagged from the A590 at Backbarrow which is a round of the Northern Centre adult championship. We understand that much clearing work has been carried out at the trial location which should improve the parking and of course the huge forest, despite much of it having been felled, still provides a great selection of sections for this once-a-year visit.
