Gaskell wins the Carter Clubman class
There was a significant number of regular Northern Centre riders in the Yeadon Guiseley Club’s Chris Carter trial on April 12, which was round 3 of the popular S3 Parts Championship series with 13 Cumbrian based riders venturing into Yorkshire for this well established national.
Richard Gaskell showed the Clubman and Over 40 class riders who made up the bulk of the 124 strong entry that he remains one of the favourites to win these events to ride the 40 sections for the loss of just 3 marks, with Jimmy Johnson in third place in the Over 40 class. Special mention also to Joel Hazlett from Casterton for his 12th place in the Under 40 category as he continues to progress up through the ranks.
