Manx success by our lads
Apologies for being a bit late with this tit-bit of news regarding Northern Centre trials boys, but it’s well worth mentioning and applauding the fact that of the first five places in the Expert class of the Manx Two Day Trial which took place a couple of weekends ago, Northern Centre riders took four of the first five places.
Tom Swindlehurst was the outright winner of the trial, Will Brockbank was third, both riding Shercos, Owen Gilchrist was fourth and best over 40 rider whilst fifth place and the best under 21 award winner was Wilf Shuttleworth.
In addition there were a host of other Northerners taking part, mostly in the Clubman class and though none of our lads cleaned up, reports indicate that it was a great weekend enjoyed by all despite the atrocious weather on the first day of the trial.
