Plug for the Presidents and Grant
It’s a bit short notice but trials riders in the Northern Centre are reminded that this coming weekend, September 11, the Bootle club have their Presidents Trial, which is a round of the Northern Centre Trials Championship.
The venue is Fell Green, Bootle and entries are available via the ACU on line entering system and entries will also be taken on the day. The start time will be 10.30am and there will be three routes, hard, green and clubman to include youth A and B. Clubs prefer to know how many entries they are likely to attract prior to the event, so if you are certain you will ride, the make that only line entry.
An entry also available online is for the Westmorland Club’s Grant Cup trial on Sunday, September 25 which will be at Tommy Road, Wharton Fell near Kirkby Stephen. This trial has been moved from its previous regular date in May to this autumn September date and is reckoned to be a really great trial on a piece of land that is used just once per year.
To encourage online entries the club are charging a reduced rate for early, online entries which will be £20 with a fiver surcharge for an entry on the day. Start time will be 10.30am.
