Grant reminder
The final round of the Northern Centre Trials Championship 2022/22023 is the Westmorland Club’s Grant Trial on September 24 at Tommy Road, Wharton Fell near Kirkby Stephen for which entries are now available on-line through the ACU Sport 80 system but of course entries are also available on the day.
It’s a great venue that is only used once per year over three laps of up to 15 sections and as per Centre Regulations, all sections should be observed, which means that the club needs 15 volunteers to enjoy the day and see some of the best local riders in action.
All observers get a nice box of biscuits for their efforts and the day, which starts at 10.30 is never too long with most of the action over by about 3pm; so if you can help the club, please contact the trial secretary on 07788 161929 and he will add your name to the list of observers. Lakes GTRC (who only run trials these days) have a multi class trial at Redscar on October 1, again entries at the start which will be flagged from the Windermere end of the Kendal by-pass.
