Loadsamoney!

Following on from the Diane Shield Memorial Trial held at the end of August on the Bank Holiday Monday, Nick Shield has been in contact to tell us that the trial as a whole, which included a fantastic raffle raised £2230 for Cancer Research, a truly superb amount from just the one event.

Nick says he offers his grateful thanks not only to the riders who took part and helped raise this amount, for their entry fees after the unavoidable expenses associated with running a trial were donated to the cause, but also to the many people who bought the raffle tickets, to the suppliers of the excellent prizes which included two battery powered Stihl gardening products, to Cornthwaites and Bowkers for their sponsorship as well as to others who made donations and of course to the Barrow club who hosted the event.

But especially to the Bingley family who put so much effort into providing  the extras that were available on the day.

A great organisation by all concerned.
