Westmorland open their first Wednesday night trial
Evening trials in mid-summer are a rarity in the Northern Centre with only Bassenthwaite running these events. Well, no more as now Westmorland have joined in with their first Wednesday Evening Trial which will be on June 28 at a NEW VENUE at High Newton, very near to where the successful Rockshocks trial was held a few weeks ago.
Thanks to the farmer who has stock on the club’s own land at nearby Lindale, the Westmorland guys now have another hillside and rock venue which should be spot on for a quick evening gallop on their trials bikes.
There will be two courses, a normal clubman course and a much easier version where it’s considered necessary which will make the trial suitable for all adults and Youth A, B and C riders. All being well, it will be over four laps of ten sections and as this is an open venue, approaching dusk shouldn’t be a problem
Start time will be 6.30pm with entries taken at the start by cash or by card
