25 up for the Scottish challenges
It’s less than two weeks now before folks begin to filter their way up to Scotland for the Pre 65 Scottish Two Day trial or the Scottish Six Days Trial – and sometimes both – so now is a good time, with the entry lists for both events having been published, to list those riders normally recognised as from the Northern Centre who have signed up to take part.
There’s 14 riders from this centre taking part in the Six Days and 11 in the Two Day trial which precedes the main event, though both these figures could yet change as other riders withdraw from the trials which opens up places for those on the reserve lists.
With apologies to anyone that is missed from the groups listed here, the Pre 65 Two Day riders and their known numbers are: 12 Nathan Britton, 23 Craig Asbridge, 31 Chris Myers, 36 William Brockbank, 68(?) Peter Blowers, 85 Angus Jenkinson, 94 Carl Batty, 95 Michael Batty, 98 Lewis Johnson, 188 Robert Dobson and Martin Jackson who has just been informed he can ride off the reserve list.
The riders in the Six Days are: 41 Jack Dixon, 43 Stephen Dixon, 45 Nigel Birkett, 49 James Johnson, 51 Jackson Edwards, 70 Dan Gaskell, 73 Richard Gaskell, 136 Tom Swindlehurst, 137 Jamie Bingley, 139 Joe Hiley, 225 Joel Gowan, 265 Ethan King, 280 Drew Morten, 281 Steve Stamper. Again apologies if we have missed anyone or even at this late date, somebody gets an entry off the reserve lists.
