Quick review of the next four trials

We are just about to see the second weekend of the month of March, and though this is a bit late for the update to what’s on in March, here’s what’s happening should you not be aware that the Centre’s events are always up-to-date under the events link from the home page.

As this is written on Saturday afternoon, there’s still time to think about riding the Barrow Club’s Founder Members Trial at Stribers which will be flagged from Haverthwaite on the A590 to Ulverston. Start time is 10.30am and the event should be easier than it was last year so should be suitable for all abilities.

Then a week later, Bootle are in action at Fell Green followed on March 24 with Barrow again, this time hosting the DR Burrow trial, a round of the Northern Centre Championship in Graythwaite Forest, a trial that will also be flagged from the A590 just past Backbarrow towards Ulverston.

Then on the final Sunday of March, the 31st the Sedbergh Club have a trial at Ghyll Farm, Bowston where the Batty family reside and this is always a cracking venue for a trial. It’s a round of the Northern Centre Youth Championship as is the Westmorland Club’s Easter Monday trial on April 1 at their own land at Back o’ the Fell Road, Lindale.

In all four cases the start time is 10.30am with entries taken at the start.
