Thanks, from our man Kitch
A few weeks ago (January 6) it was ace photographer Eric Kitchen’s 90th birthday, celebrated in fine style over a long weekend when he was taken out to lunch on the day itself, followed by a trip a day later to the DL12 Indoor Trial where he was presented with the “camera cake” seen elsewhere on this site. Then on the Sunday he travelled with his immediate family to visit his sister in Chesterfield followed on the Monday by a formal photo session in front of the dozens of cards he had received from well-wishers, not to mention the huge number of e-mails sent offering congratulations and happy birthday.
It is totally impossible for Kitch to show his thanks for all the good wishes individually, so he asks that we convey, through this Northern Centre ACU website that he supports so energetically, his grateful thanks to everybody for the cards, cake and good wishes.
(Secretly, Eric was very moved by the whole weekend, but don’t tell him we know!!)
