Three British Championship class chasing regulars turned out for the Lakes GTRC club trial on the last Sunday of August at Cartmell Fell where the views were truly spectacular, and took the top three places over the hard course. Cameron Brice won with the loss of 17 after three laps of 12 sections featuring rock outcrops in grass with British and European Ladies Champion Alice Minta second and Manx lass Kaytlyn Adshead third.

The two ladies had just returned from European Championship duties in Sweden (Kaytlyn won that round) and stayed in Cumbria for a few days before travelling off to France for the upcoming final World round and Trials des Nations over consecutive weekends having been practicing with Cameron near his home.

Richard Taylor (lead picture) was the best over the Clubman course with a loss of 8 some 9 ahead of Karl Ratcliffe with Erik Buckley third from Pete Clibburn.

Scottish visitor D Maxwell lost just a single dab to be the best over the Easy Clubman course with Bryan Harrison on just two marks  in a group that attracted a very large entry from the 48 starters.
