Two Bens top their class

Despite the disappointingly low entry of just 29 riders, for those who took part in the Barrow Club’s Henry Trial , they enjoyed a decent length of lap featuring 12 sections ridden three times from the The Old Railway Line at Torver and which proved to be an excellent trial at this regularly used venue.

Several riders made the journey from the adjacent North Western Centre, knowing they would get a good ride over some great terrain and they certainly weren’t disappointed and it was one of those visitors, Ben Hanson who won the clubman class from another NW visitor, John Duffy on 6 and 11 marks respectively with Mark Barrow in third who surprisingly made a right hash of the day’s easy second section which cost him the second place.

Local riders won the Green and Hard course routes with Ben Croasdale topping the Green 50/50 route and Stephen Dixon the Hard course, another NW visitor, Anthony Brown taking the runner up spot over the Green route and Owen Gilchrist the same place on the Hard course.
