Barbon entries now open
Westmorland MC is claimed as Cumbria and the ACU Northern Centre’s premier club, running a number of trials, two classic scrambles and the famous Percy Duff Memorial Barbon Speed Hill Climb every year, which takes place on SATURDAY, July 22.
And entries for the hill climb are now being accepted from 9pm on Saturday, June 10 through – theeventapp.io – an on line event entering system that the club have previously used for scrambles and which is now being used for the hill climb entries.
This is the only location where it is possible to enter as the club are NOT using the ACU system.
Riders should find the system exceedingly easy, simply go to theeventapp.io, register if you have not already done so and make your entry.
In 2022 it was 23 time TT winner John McGuinness who was the club’s guest at the hill climb, this year it will be 7 time TT winner and regular pre 65 trials rider Mick Grant who will be bringing a Velocette to the meeting, a machine on which he won the meeting back in the late ‘sixties.
So hill climbers, get those entries in and look forward to another day of great sport on this 813 yard tarmac drive .
