Final call for the Generations Trial
The sections have been plotted for SATURDAY’S Generation Trial by Westmorland MC at their own land at Lindale on June 17, an event that is trying a new format of classes: Bikes built before 1980, Bikes built between 1981 and 1990; Bikes built between 1991 and 2000; Bikes built between 2001 and 2010, Bikes built after 2011 and Any Bultaco. There are no age or capability classes, it’s all about the bike.
Whilst modern bikes fit into this class structure (after 2011) , the club is hoping that riders will dig out an older machine for this new class structure try out.
To be held over four laps of ten sections, the section plotters have aimed to provide as many straight-forward sections as possible, with their length being generally longer than has become the norm.
The trial should suit all the classes and in almost every case there is an easier route through each section to cater for those who prefer an easy day (particularly in this current heatwave!)
Entries are being taken on the day by cash or by card, the start time is 10.30 – 11 for those who may have to do a couple of hours work beforehand.
Of course observers are always wanted and every section is interesting enough to be worth taking on
