Nostalgia Trial Cancelled and Now Lakes
We’ve been asked to inform everybody that the Bultaco revival Nostalgia Trial has been cancelled due to insufficient entries.
Westmorland thank those who have supported them and regret that riders won’t be enjoying a day in the Western Yorkshire Dales next Saturday.
Entry fees will be refunded through the ACU system and regrettably the ACU deducts £3 in administration fees. However, all who have entered have been noted and the club will make arrangements to reduce entry fees at the next Westmorland trial that riders enter.
The club continues to say they tried very hard to attract an entry sufficient to make the event viable, but with only 39 confirmed, they had no alternative but to cancel the event.

And now Colin Benson of the Lakes GTRC has been in contact to say that their trial scheduled for Sunday, June 19 has also been cancelled for the same reason – a lack of entries. Only 14 had been received by Thursday evening which of course makes it totally impractical to run.
